Phase 1 — 2026
The First Court
One all-glass court installed in a 250m² leased venue sized for two courts. Community-funded. This is where it starts.
What We're Building
A professional, all-glass portable squash court—the same specification used in international tournaments. Built to last. Built to perform.
We're leasing a 250m² venue in Port Macquarie sized for two courts from day one — the first court goes in for Phase 1 (2026), the second in the same building for Phase 2 (2027). Lease term: 3 years minimum. This first court proves two critical things:
- 1.We can operate a sustainable revenue model from memberships and bookings.
- 2.The community is ready for competitive squash again.
If Phase 1 works—and we're confident it will—we've unlocked funding and confidence for Phases 2, 3, and 4.
The Numbers
Total setup (Low–High; $72K target)
Sponsorship, donations, reserves
Of total Phase 1 setup cost funded before court order
Court ordered, venue secured, opened
We won't proceed without hitting our financial threshold. 80% of the total Phase 1 setup cost must be secured in funding before a court goes on order. This is a community-driven project — we move responsibly.
Why It Matters
For two years, Port Macquarie squash players have faced a choice: drive 45 minutes to Kempsey, or stop playing.
Families can't commit to that commute. Junior players drop out. Talented athletes move away. We lose.
Phase 1 changes that. One court. One venue. Walking distance for most of Port Macquarie. After-school squash. Weekend competition. A place where players belong.
This is the moment we prove regional communities can build world-class facilities. Not with government handouts. With grassroots passion, local sponsorship, and people who believe in sport.
After Phase 1
If Phase 1 succeeds, we'll have proven the model. Proven the demand. Proven that a regional community can operate a world-class sporting facility. That confidence unlocks everything:
- →Phase 2 (2027): Second court added in the same building. Junior development. 120+ members.
- →Phase 3 (2028–29): Permanent home. Multi-sport facility. Government grant backing.
- →Phase 4 (2030–32): Full precinct. Six to seven courts. Elite player pathway. National blueprint.
Make Phase 1 Happen
Phase 1 is the proof. Help us build the first court and unlock the path to a world-class facility.
